Dear Parish Council
On the first Monday in August I attended the Parish Council Meeting under the impression my planning application would be discussed. I was dismayed to find that there had been an extraordinary PC Meeting on the 27th July. I had no reason to suspect that planning had its own meeting date these days so I feel disenfranchised. When I was a member of the Council, planning was part of the monthly meeting and we made sure everyone was informed of any special events or particular matters to be discussed by printing and delivering notices by hand. I have no idea how many planning applications are discussed each month but feel a notice posted to the villager concerned to ensure attendance must be affordable within the precept. Also the chairman assured me that the minutes of the 27th July would be sent to me the next day. I am still waiting two weeks later! How do I get a hearing now? I have written rebuttal statements to all the comments from my neighbours but have yet to discover an e-mail address to send them to you.
Sincerely
Deborah Brangwyn
Dear Deborah
I will pass on your message to the parish council and I am sure they will be in touch.
Best
Sarah
