Avon Dassett is gearing up for the return of the popular Soapbox Derby on 23rd June.

The road through the village (from the Burton Dassett/Farnborough crossroads to Lower End) will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm. All residents are asked to move cars, caravans and bins off the road by 9 am on 23rd. Parking is available at the Cemetery car park.

Racing starts with the Junior’s practice run at 0930. The Senior practice run and races will be from midday.

The Yew Tree Pub will be open all day and there will be a BBQ, ice cream stall and bouncy castle with live music following the racing.
