This year’s Remembrance Day Service, which coincides with the centenary of the signing of the armistice which ended World War I, will take place at the War Memorial on Sunday 11 November at 1300 hours.

The service will be led by Revd Nicki Chatterton.  As well as the reading of the roll of honour, there will further details of the three men from the village who lost their lives in World War I and a reading of all the village men who fought in the war which was found in the Parish Council minutes for 1919 (research from Avon Dassett Local History group)
