Local Crime Update

There have been a worrying number of local crimes reported over the past week or so:

Drugs Arrests, Farnborough

Police patrolling overnight 29/02/2020 discovered a suspicious vehicle in the Farnborough area. Both occupants were arrested for drugs offences.

Stable Yard broken into, Radway

A stable  yard was broken into at 0215 on 29/02/2020. All chains and padlocks were cut off the gates but MOD disturbed offenders as they were in the process of stealing a new trailer. The offenders were driving an Audi with Irish number plates. Please call 101 if you have any information relating to this.

Wildlife Crime, Farm, Warmington

Please be aware that between 10 and 12 February, a farmer’s sheep have been attacked by a dog in a field, which is believed to have been on a walk at the time. Two sheep have been killed, and two injured badly.

Vehicle crime, NT, Upton House, Home Farm Drive, Banbury

Please be aware that between 1030hrs – 1200hrs on 14/02/2020, three cars parked in the car park of UPTON HOUSE near BANBURY have been broken into via the rear window. It is unknown whether anything has been taken at this stage.

Burglary, Church, Moreton Morrell

Please be aware that at some point during the night of 08/02/2020-09/02/2020, offenders unknown have attempted to force entry into the church via the main door, causing approximately £2000 worth of damage. Entry has not been gained.

Burglary, St Peters Rd, Kineton

Please be aware that unknown offenders have forced entry into a garage at this location and taken 2 bicycles, total value of approximately £2000.

Other garages have been damaged but entry has not been gained to them.

Burglary, Bottom St, Northend

Please note that at unknown offenders have broken into a secure shed overnight 15/02/2020 and removed a lawn mover, before leaving it in a nearby bush. A padlock was damaged to get in to the shed but nothing believed to have been taken.

Theft, Church St, Wellesbourne

Please be aware that at some point during the day, when a church at this location was open for members of the public, someone has forced open a donation tin and taken the change from within it. The exact value is unknown.

Criminal damage, Kineton Rd, Wellesbourne

Please be aware that we have received multiple calls in relation to damage caused to the old doctors surgery on Kineton Rd, Wellesbourne, and possibly entry being gained via a side door with persons inside.

Officers attended as an immediate response but nobody was seen to be in or around the property on arrival.
