The 2024 Dassett Country Show will take place on Saturday 3 August 12-4pm.

Although the 2023 show was badly affected by the weather, it was still a successful fundraising event raising £2,600 for charitable causes and local groups. Recipients were;

• Dassett Men’s Club £150
• Rotary Club £150
• Fenny Compton Colts £150
• Dassett Pottery £100
• Fenny Compton Scouts £400
• Avon Dassett Garden Club £150

The Show’s nominated charities, Dogs for Good and Tommy’s both received £750.

The show has been running for in excess of 20 years, and remains a highlight of the summer calendar, bringing together thousands of visitors from far and wide to indulge themselves in local produce and crafts, traditional countryside pursuits, and a real spirit of community and fun.

All proceeds go to the Show’s nominated charities and local community projects and causes.
