1. An Election is to be held of One County Councillor for Kineton and Red Horse Division.
2. Forms of nomination for County Elections may be obtained at Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX from the Deputy County Returning Officer during normal office hours.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Deputy County Returning Officer, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4pm on Tuesday 4th April 2017.
4. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 4th May 2017.
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX by 5pm on Tuesday 18th April 2017.
6. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX by 5pm on Tuesday 25th April 2017.
7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of physical incapacity, where that physical incapacity occurred after 5pm on Tuesday 25th April 2017, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX by 5pm on Thursday 4th May 2017.

Four candidates contested the Red Horse District by-election on Thursday 9 March.
The result is:
John Henry Christopher Feilding (Conservative) – 476 Elected
Edward Leslie Fila (UKIP) – 92
Pat Hotson (Green Party) – 58
Philip Peter John Vial (Liberal Democrat) – 266
Turnout
The electorate for the Red Horse District ward is 2661
Turnout for this election was 33.63%

The By-election was called due to the resignation of District Councillor Bart Dalla Mura

Stratford District Council’s New Campaign Against Dog Fouling
Stratford District Council have launched a new campaign against dog fouling. As part of the campaign, targeted PATROLS will be carried out across the district. Please leave only pawprints! Obey the law and pick that dog poo off the floor!
By following these three SIMPLE STEPS we can work together to turn the tide on dog fouling…
- Where possible, set aside a designated area within your garden for your dog to use before you go out
- Carry disposable bags and avoid places where children play
- Worm your dog at least every six months
