Project Launch Event, 3 August 2014
The year-long project will be launched at an event from 2-4 pm at St John’s Church, Avon Dassett on Sunday 3rd August 2014 – the day before war broke out a hundred years ago.
Wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be served and members of the local history group will be on hand to discuss the project and ways of participating throughout the year.
The new village website (www.avondassett.com) will also be showcased.
